VAM 2.0

Privacy

Short version: we only store what you send us, use it only to improve the mod, and sell or share nothing.

Who is responsible

This website is run by the developer of VAM 2.0. Contact details are in the imprint.

Visiting the website

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect them against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the requested page. We do not run analytics or advertising, and we set no tracking cookies. Fonts and images come from this domain – no requests to Google or other third parties.

Bug reports and ideas

  • What we store: everything you enter in the form, the files you attach, the time, your browser language and a salted, shortened hash of your IP address. The hash only serves to limit spam (a few reports per hour) and cannot be turned back into your address.
  • Why: to understand and fix problems and to plan new features (legitimate interest, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Your Discord name is optional and only used to ask you follow-up questions.
  • Who sees it: the developer and the tools used to work on the mod. Reports are never published. Single findings may appear in anonymised form in update notes or on the roadmap.
  • How long: until the report is resolved and no longer needed, at most two years. Ask on Discord or via the imprint contact to have a report deleted earlier.
  • Spam protection: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks in the background whether a human is sending. It works without tracking cookies.

Your private status link

Each report gets a random key. Only people with your link can see its status and our reply – keep it to yourself.

Your rights

You may ask what we store about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and complain to a data protection authority.
